3m & Boydd Products,
Just an update…I wore the helmet you provided on 9/1/16 for the duration of a barricaded suspect call out. The incident lasted 20 hours. We were under night vision and gas masks for some time, the temperature ranged from 104 high to 75 low. Needless to say, the event was taxing.
Without a doubt, I can tell you that your product made a huge difference. There is no comparison between what we currently use and your helmet. I was comfortable and suffered less fatigue during the event. I know what it feels like with our current issued gear and could only feel sorry for my teammates. I was thoroughly impressed.
I have debriefed my team and have reluctantly passed on the helmet to a teammate for another review. I will keep you posted.
